TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE BBVA GLOBAL CAREERS SITE

1. What is the purpose of these terms and conditions?

These terms and conditions govern the use of the BBVA Group's global careers site https://careers.bbva.com/ (the "Platform"), the form of registration in both, the section "Connect with us" and/or in the job offers that are published ("Registration"), as well as the creation of a user profile and access to and use of the private area of the profile created on the Platform ("My Profile"). The terms and conditions together with the Legal Notice, the Terms of Use, the Privacy and the Cookie Policies together constitute the terms and conditions governing access to and use of the Platform (the "Terms and Conditions").

2. What does the Platform consist of?

The Platform is a digital environment whose purpose is to encourage the development of professional talent within the BBVA Group by allowing users to send their CVs through the "Connect with us" section to apply for a job, as well as to register for the job offers published on the Platform so that BBVA or the BBVA Group entities that publishes the offer can contact the user in the selection processes that are carried out, including collaboration with different universities and higher education institutes where they can offer educational internships to enjoy a first-hand experience in one of the largest financial institutions. The user can access information on the various international job opportunities published on the following specific portals:

• BBVA Career Site in Venezuela.
• BBVA Career Site in Colombia.
• BBVA Career Site in Europe.
• BBVA Career Site in Peru.
• BBVA Career Site in Argentina.
• BBVA Career Site in the USA.
• BBVA Career Site in Mexico.
• BBVA Career Site in Uruguay.
• BBVA Career Site in Asia Pacific.
• BBVA Career Site in Spain.
• BBVA Career Site in Paraguay.

(hereinafter referred to as the "Specific Portal(s)")

The requirements and selection processes for the job offers may vary depending on the geography where the post is published, each one of them being subject to the procedure established by the BBVA Group entity that publishes the job offer in accordance with the provisions of each Specific Portal. Below is a link to the list of BBVA Group entities that publish job offers on the Platform: Companies ("BBVA Group Entity(ies)").

Through the chosen Specific Portal, the user can:

• Access to the "Connect with us" section, by clicking on the "Join BBVA" button, to request that your details and curriculum vitae to be taken into account in a job recruitment that fits your profile. To do so, and after accepting the privacy policy and these terms and conditions, the user must send his/her contact details, upload or complete his/her curriculum vitae, select the geography(ies) where he/she would like to work and click on "Registration". The BBVA Group Entity that publishes the job offer for the selected geography(ies) will process the application and send an e-mail to the user to confirm receipt of the application, without this entailing any kind of obligation on the part of the aforementioned entity to carry out a selection process and/or enter into an employment contract with the user.
• Access all the information on current job offers for a specific geography, the BBVA Group Entity that publishes the offer, the description of the position and the profile required, apply for registration in a selection process for a specific offer for possible employment, as well as create a user profile where you can review the status of the application for an offer. This user profile created in the Specific Portal will be unique for all the Specific Portals of the Platform.
  
  Once registered for a job offer, the BBVA Group Entity that holds the offer will be responsible for carrying out the selection process for possible employment, for which purpose it will manage the user's application by determining whether he or she fits the profile required for the job offer.

3. What is it for and how do I create a user profile? Is it necessary to have a user profile to register for a job offer?

3.1.- By creating a profile the user will access the My Profile section. In order to create a profile, the user can access directly through the section "Join BBVA", or access through the section "Apply" in one of the job offers within a Specific Portal, and, for both cases, click on "Create a profile". To complete the process, the user will have to fill in the required data and accept both the privacy policy and these terms and conditions. Once the process of creating a profile has been completed, the user will receive an e-mail notification to inform him/her of his/her registration.

The creation of a profile in the name and/or on behalf of another person is prohibited.

3.2.- In the My Profile section the user can view and edit the data provided, include a profile photo, as well as view the status of the application for a specific job in which he/she has registered.

3.3.- In order to register for a job offer on a Specific Portal, it is not necessary for the user to have a user profile. Notwithstanding the above, certain geographical areas, such as the United States, may require the creation of a profile or additional aspects in order to register for a job offer, so the user will have to follow the specific procedures established in the Specific Portal.

4. What requirements do I have to meet and how do I register for an offer?

4.1.- In order to register for a free of charge offer published on a Specific Portal, the user must fulfil the following conditions:

• meet the specific requirements of the Specific Portal,
• comply, where appropriate, with the requirements set out in the application,
• provide the documentation required for the job he/she has applied for (e.g. certificates, copy of academic record, etc.), as well as the information required in the corresponding selection process.
• accept the processing of personal data and these Terms and Conditions.

Likewise, the Candidate may include his/her letter of presentation and any other additional document that he/she considers appropriate for the specific application.

4.2.- Once a user has registered for a job offer, the Candidate will receive a notification via email to inform him/her about your registration. Registration for a job offer is subject to the selection process carried out by the BBVA Group Entity that publishes the job offer, and does not give the Candidate any right to enter into an employment contract or any commitment to be selected by the BBVA Group Entity.

4.3.- The Candidate can not register for a job offer on the Platform in the name and/or on behalf of another person.

5. Who is the owner of the Platform?

5.1.- Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. ("BBVA") is the legitimate licensee of the intellectual and industrial property rights over the Platform and the owners or legitimate licensees of the elements it contains and includes at all times, including materials, articles, news, brands, content layout, computer programs and sui generis rights over the underlying databases (including source and object codes), the graphic design and user interface (look & feel), as well as the different elements that make up the Application (texts, graphics, photographs, videos, recordings, etc.) (the "BBVA Contents").

5.2.- Access to the Platform does not grant the Platform user any rights over the intellectual and/or industrial property rights to the BBVA Contents.

5.3.- BBVA reserves the right to take legal action against Platform users for the infringement of intellectual and/or industrial property rights over BBVA Contents.

6. What is the personal data protection policy?

The aspects relating to the processing of Users' personal data in connection with the use of the Platform are regulated in the Platform's Privacy Policy document.

7. Is there any reservation of rights?

7.1.- BBVA reserves the right to partially or totally modify these Terms and Conditions, as well as to include new ones. The new Terms and Conditions will be shown to the Platform user through the same. The user may consult these Terms and Conditions at any time on the Platform.

7.2.- BBVA reserves the right to update, modify or eliminate the information contained on the Platform, and may even limit or deny access to said information, without prior notice. In particular, BBVA reserves the right to eliminate, limit or prevent access to the Platform when technical difficulties arise due to events or circumstances beyond the control of BBVA which, in its opinion, diminish or annul the standard security levels adopted for the proper functioning of said Platform, informing the Platform user accordingly.

8. What are the obligations and responsibilities arising from the use of the Platform?

8.1.- The user of the Platform agrees to make use of it in accordance with the following provisions:

• He/she is obliged to make good use of the Platform, meaning that it must be used in accordance with current legislation, good faith and public order and with the provisions of this document.
• He/she undertakes not to damage or render useless the equipment or computer systems of BBVA or of third parties.
• Likewise, he/she undertakes not to impede access to or normal use of the content included on the Platform.
• He/she will not use the Platform for illegal, misleading, malicious or discriminatory acts.
• He/she shall not carry out any action that could disable, overload or affect the proper functioning or appearance of the Platform.

8.2.- The Platform user will be considered responsible for the damages he may cause, among others, in the following cases:

• When he/she does not use the Platform in accordance with the conditions set out in this document. In the event of breach by the user of any of the provisions established in these Terms and Conditions, BBVA and/or the BBVA Group Entity may restrict and/or deny access to the Platform. This is without prejudice to any other responsibility that, as a consequence of the aforementioned breach, may be required of BBVA, the BBVA Group Entity that owns the Specific Portal or a third party, and for which the user shall be responsible in all cases.
• When the access codes to the Private Area, or the access itself, are used improperly by a third party, and the third party has not notified BBVA or the BBVA Group Entity that owns the Specific Portal and/or of such unauthorised use without undue delay as soon as it becomes aware of it or suspects it has occurred.

9. How can the user cancel a user profile and/or unsubscribe from a job offer?

9.1.- The user can deactivate his profile via the "My Profile" section by clicking on "Options", "Edit Profile" and checking the option "Deactivate and anonymize My Profile".

9.2.- The user can cancel his registration to a job offer registered through the section "My Profile" within the offer itself by clicking on "unsubscribe from the selection process".
