Under direct supervision, assist in formulating system scope and objective through research and fact-finding to develop or modify a data processing application. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Design, code, test, and debug programs. Maintain and document those programs. Must be competent to work on several phases of applications systems and analysis and programming activities. Will take instruction and guidance from lead programmers.


    Analyze business/job processes to identify improvements and efficiencies.
    Prepare written process improvement evaluations/recommendations.
    Coordinate system user requests/needs by preparing change specifications for programming staff.
    Test programming changes for accuracy and compliance with user specification.
    Participate on task forces assigned to implement new or enhanced systems.


Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS, etc.) in IT or a related field required with No experience required of . Work experience may substitute for education requirement.

Preferred qualifications

The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst position offers exposure to Business Intelligence technology, and the opportunity to work in a diverse team. The individual will be responsible for designing, develop and Support Business Intelligence Solutions.


Analyzes and Develop well formed data requirements based on the needs of Lines of Business.
Assess feasibility consulting with the senior analyst team as needed.
Collaborate with peers to facilitate understanding of source data and logic around reports.
Design and develop metrics, reports, and dashboards conforming to consistent methodologies and standards.
Analyze data and trends, and suggest improvements for graphical representation.
Assist with test and execution including bug/fix root cause analysis.
Document processes and procedures.
Train end users in use of reports.


The ideal candidate can learn quickly, is energetic, and creative.
Solid understanding of Oracle SQL syntax, stored procedures and user defined functions.
Knowledge of relational databases and query concepts.
Analysis and design skills, critical thinking, and analytical problem solving.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with business & systems personnel.
Ability to create reporting solutions and not just individual reports.
Having some knowledge of Analytical tools like MicroStrategy or Tableau is a plus.


Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related degree prefer.
1+ years of experience with reporting workflow and lifecycle
1+ years of experience creating reports.
Bilingual; English/Spanish.
